Present tense
Is a grammatical tense whose prinsiple function is to collect the situation or event in the present time. It is the type of tense which is used for the actions which are happening now.
Present tense is devided into four sub-types which are as follow
- Simple present
- Present continuous
- Present perfect
- Present perfect continues
Simple present tense
It is used to express an action in present time which is usually done by irregular time.Structure of simple present tense
The stucture of this tense is dependsaccording to the type of sentence (positive,negative and interrogative)
Positive sentence
Subject +main verb+object
Or
Subject+1st form of verb(Base verb)+object
Negative sentence
Subject +Auxiliary verb +NOT+Main verb +Object
Or
Subject+do/does+NOT+1st form of verb+Object
Interrogative sentence
Auxiliary verb+Subject+Main verb+object?
Or
Do/Does+Subject+1st form of verb+Object?
